SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta High School girls basketball had a big win over Hanover Park 64-25 on Wednesday. Three Spartans score double digits and eight had points in the game.
The Spartans had 37 points by the half while holding the Hornets to 13.
Baily Chapman put up 15 points with three 3-pointers and two foul shots.
Brynn McCurry and Mason Munier each had 10 point games. McCurry also pulled down eight rebounds and earned 10 assists.
Munier scored all her points inside the paint. She also grabbed six rebounds.
Alexa Acker dropped in four 2-ppointers, had six rebounds and two blocks.
Malaya Dobbs added six points with two from the foul line and two 2-pointers. Ally Sweeney had a busy game with five points, six rebounds, seven assists and five steals. Grace McDonald had a five point night with a 2-pointer and an 3-pointer and two rebounds.
Emma Cilli added a basket from 3-point land and three rebounds.
Sparta moves to 8-1 for the season. They will play at Chatham on Thursday at 7 p.m.
