The Sparta Public Library will be closed on September 25 because the parking lot will be closed for milling on that day.  It will reopen for regular hours on Saturday.  Paving will take place on September 28.

Patrons of Parks and Recreation will park at Ungerman Field parking lot.  The community is asked to use the sidewalk on Main Street leading to the Recreation Office at the lower level of the library.

“Please be extremely careful walking on milled lots,” the township announcement said.  “Pavement will be uneven and possibly loose material may be present.”

Close said the milling and paving projects are subject to weather conditions.
