SPARTA, NJ- A Sparta woman found parked on the grass behind snow plows at the Blue Heron Park and Ride is facing drunk driving charges.  On January 18 around 11:40 p.m. Office Marc Rubino responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle where found Charlene Myers, 48 according to police.

When talking with Myers, Rubino found she was slurring her words and her eyes were bloodshot and watery.  She admitted to having two beers earlier, police said.

Rubino had Myers perform field sobriety tests and then took her into custody.  Myers was transported to the Sparta Police Department Headquarters for processing.  After being breath tested Myers was charged with DWI, careless driving, failure to maintain a lane and failure to keep right, police said.

Myers was given a court date and released to a sober adult.
