SPARTA, NJ – Acting on an anonymous tip, Sparta Police went to a Sparta residence to find a man wanted by the Sussex County Sheriff’s Department. When the officers arrived, Kyle Talmadge, 29 of Franklin Boro ran into the woods, police said.
Talmadge, who had been working at the home, was chased and caught by Cpll Marc Rubino. Talmadge stopped and surrendered as Rubino told him to do, police said.
Talmadge was brought to Sparta Police Department Headquarters where he was charged with obstruction of justice, given a court date and turned over to the Sussex County Sheriff’s Department on the warrant.
