WESTFIELD, NJ — More than 30 local business people attended the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC) speed-networking happy hour event Wednesday, presented by the Westfield Turkey Trot at Westfield Running Company on Quimby Street.

“The team here at Sports A/R was psyched to host the GWACC Happy Hour this month,” said Tears Smith, event director for Sports A/R, which runs the annual Westfield Turkey Trot. “It was a great opportunity to meet new business people from the community while showcasing our events and services. Our goal this year is to really connect the Westfield Turkey Trot—the 31st Annual—with the Westfield and Union County community, residents and businesses.”

Food was provided by Chef Roscoe RMT Buffet & Catering.

“The happy hour event was truly a group effort and we'd like to thank the GWACC for the opportunity to co-host, the Westfield Running Company for opening their doors to us and Chef Roscoe for the delicious appetizers,” said Smith.
