HANOVER, NJ - The Scotch Plains-Fanwood (SPFBL) 10U Blue baseball team defeated Hanover, 11-10, Tuesday night in the quarterfinals to advance to the semifinal round of the New Providence League playoffs.

Marco Signorelli was 3-for-3, including a double, triple and three RBI. Andy Kipp pitched three strong innings, allowing two hits and striking out seven, and Ryan Brandl struck out the final batter with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning for the save. Raiders pitchers recorded 14 of the 18 outs via strikeout.
The Raiders will play Saturday against the winner of the quarterfinal-round matchup between Montville and Westfield.
