The Raiders 8U refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Morristown, recording a 14-7 victory on Sunday, May 11 at Ridge.

With nine runs in the first three innings, the Raiders 8U left no doubt about the eventual outcome.  An RBI single by Louis Messano, a walk by Anthony Romano, a hit by pitch, and a walk by John Paino during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Raiders 8U.
Louis racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Raiders 8U.

After posting five runs in the third, the Raiders 8U again scored five in the fourth. In the third, the Raiders 8U scored on an RBI single by Sam Sponheimer, plating Colin Widder. The inning looked promising, as John singled, scoring Luke Doyle to kick things off.
