Spotlight on Berkeley Heights Features Berkeley Aquatic Center Proposal

The proposed new Berkeley Aquatic Center is the topic of discussion on the current edition of Spotlight on Berkeley Heights. Host Dr. Donald DeFabio has a frank and to the point interview about the planned expansion of the Berkeley Aquatic Center, BAC, with its owner and head coach, Jim Wood. Dr. DeFabio specifically covers the new facility’s location, size, services and impact on the residential and downtown areas of Berkeley Heights as well as neighboring towns. The BAC expansion has been a polarizing topic as well as the center of heated discussions in Berkeley Heights recently. This show brings forward essential information for Berkeley Heights residents to become informed about the potential risks and benefits relative to this project.

Of interest to Berkeley Heights residents is the special election that has been called for to determine the fate of the new BAC facility. However, the election has been stalled by lawsuits which are an additional topic of discussion on the show.  In all, this show provides the public with much needed answers concerning the impact the new BAC will have on Berkeley Heights and the magnitude of a special election.
