SPOTSWOOD, NJ - It's never too early to make summer plans and the Spotswood Recreation Department will open registration for its summer programs on June 1. The Rec Department's annual summer Arts and Crafts Camp will be held at the Memorial Middle School from July 2 to July 27 from 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. This program is for children ages five through 11. The cost is $45 per week for residents and $55 per week for non-residents.

Normally, the Arts and Crafts Camp takes place at the Appleby School. However, due to construction, the camp has been relocated to the Memorial Middle School this summer.

The Spotswood Recreation Department will also be holding a Tennis Camp from July 9 to August 2 at the tennis courts on Summerhill Road for children ages eight through 14. The camp includes two one-hour tennis instructional lessons each week. The exact days and times will be determined at a later date. The cost for the Tennis Camp is $35 for residents and $45 for non-residents.

Registration can be done online for both the Arts and Crafts as well as the Tennis Camp online at the Spotswood Recreation Department's website.
