The focus of my work as a Health Coach is helping people reach their health goals by incorporating food and self-care routines that work for their body and lifestyle. With the changing of the season it can be motivating to try something different to support the process of changing your habits.
When I recently met Linda West, a Certified Consulting Hypnotist, I was immediately intrigued with how she guides her clients to create lasting change in their thoughts and behavior through hypnosis. I believe that this could be a simple and powerful tool for people to use to improve their health.
I invited Linda to come to my office on Saturday, April 5 at 1:00-2:30 pm to allow participants to have some fun and experience the power of the subconscious mind. In this safe and comfortable setting, you will have the opportunity to achieve a light state of hypnosis and to test whether hypnosis would be beneficial to you.
Besides the familiar applications of smoking, weight loss and stress, Linda helps her clients with issues as varied as flying phobias, attention and learning issues, memory improvement , social anxiety, pain management, sleep problems and more. Any issue which has a psychological component can benefit from hypnosis. And both the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Psychological Association (APA) endorse it.
At this presentation, Linda will answer all of your questions including: Can anybody be hypnotized? What does hypnosis feel like? How does it work? Am I under the hypnotist’s control? What if I don’t go deep enough? What if resist?
