SUMMIT, NJ - Closet cleaners, garage organizers, and treasure hunters unite.
The Summit Free Market returns for two consecutive Saturdays -- April 26 and May 3 -- from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the City of Summit Transfer Station.
The student-run initiative enables residents to bring reusable, yard-sale quality items to share, and people can take whatever they may want or need. It’s all free. Since its inception in 2008, the popular Summit Free Market has kept over 80 tons of reusable material from the waste stream.
The Transfer Station is located at 40 New Providence Road.
