MAPLEWOOD, NJ - The 7-Eleven at 1712 Springfield Ave., near Tuscan Road, which had been closed for an undisclosed violation of the Township Health Code since July 6, re-opened on Tuesday with a "conditionally satisfactory" certificate displayed in the window.

The re-opening was just in time for Free Slurpee Day on Wednesday, July 11 (i.e., 7-Eleven), at participating 7-Eleven stores nationwide.

Participating stores offer customers a free small slurpee from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., or while supplies last.
