SUMMIT, NJ - Stacey M. Valentine has joined Avelino & Hartlaub, LLP as a partner in the firm’s trusts and estates group. Valentine will focus her practice on trusts and estates, assisting clients with their income, estate, inheritance, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax issues as well as their general wealth transfer goals.
In her role with the firm, Valentine will also be likely often trusted with the fiduciary duties of an executor or trustee and provides guidance to her clients in the administration of estates following the death of a loved one.
Licensed in both New Jersey and New York, Valentine will be able to serve clients in both of the firm’s offices. She is an alumnus of Washington and Lee University School of Law, where she received her JD, and Colgate University, where she completed her undergraduate work.

Valentine is a member of New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Morris County Bar Association. She serves on the Board of the Estate Planning Council of Northern New Jersey, the Board of the Women’s Association for the Morristown Medical Center, and the Young Professionals Board of Eva’s Village, and has been honored by Thomson Reuters as a New Jersey Super Lawyers™ Rising Star in 2016, 2018 and 2019.
