CHATHAM, NJ - There were 179 responses to the PLANETCIVIC survey being offered on the Chatham Borough website about possible marijuana legislation as of Oct. 22. Chatham Borough Council members are hoping to reach at least 200 survey participants before the survey closes on Nov. 5.
Council member Thad Kobylarz made a second plea to Chatham Borough residents to make use of the Planetcivic survey on marijuana legislation at Monday night's borough council meeting.
"If we can get to 200, it will make it a legitimate poll," Kobylarz said. "We want people to know that we are listening."
All Chatham Borough residents can go to PLANETCIVIC and answer questions about your views on marijuana legislation. Kobylarz urges Chatham Borough residents to take advantage of planetcivic in the video below.
"This is a wonderful way to encourage more responsive government," Kobylarz said. "We will listen to you."
