PARKLAND, FL- The seniors at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland will be experiencing a prom like no other this year. California-based clothing brand Hollister is hosting a contest called "The Ultimate Prom," which is aimed at high schools across the contiguous 48 states. Marjory Stoneman Douglas was chosen as the winner from the contest entries, and their 2019 senior prom will be hosted and sponsored by Hollister. The prom will feature a limited of supply of Hollister's Abercrombie and Fitch clothing to be given away, gift bags for the seniors, and a $5,000 donation to fund music and arts programs at Stoneman Douglas. Hollister will also provide the music, featuring a live performance by a yet-to-be-announced musical artist. The total value of the event from Hollister is estimated to be $150,000. Prom night for the Stoneman Douglas students is May 11 at the Westin in Forth Lauderdale Beach.
