SPARTA, NJ - The 25th annual Sparta Summer Arts Workshop held its final Arts Evening on Wednesday, July 30. For the past five weeks 180 children have spent their mornings at Sparta Middle School developing their artistic talents. The evening allowed family and friends to enjoy a showcase of the children’s fine and performing arts experiences.

The workshop included classes in vocal and instrumental music, dance and theater performance, photography, computer animation, fine arts and even knitting and crocheting.

The hallways of the lower level of the school were lined with a vibrant mix of all manner of artwork. There were also small group instrumental performances providing background music for attendees to enjoy, as they explored the museum-like displays.
