BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - This is the third year that the Jersey Pilots Baseball Club is playing at Snyder Park Field.The Pilots are members of one of the top college summer leagues in the country called the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League.
The goal is to provide Central Jersey with first-class college baseball in a small town setting while showcasing potential prospects for the Major League Scouts that attend the games throughout the summer in Berkeley Heights.
The Pilots will open the season at home on Sunday, June 1 at 4:30 pm. They will be hosting the Staten Island Tides in a doubleheader. Mayor Joe Bruno will be throwing out the first ball to officially start the season.
Admission is free. Donations are accepted. Fans will have a chance to receive Gift Certificates from the local merchants at every home game.
