Summer Theater Workshop at the Summit Playhouse

Are you looking for something special for your child to do this summer?  The Summit Playhouse Kaleidoscope Theatre for Youth and Pixie Dust Players are offering theater workshops that will culminate in an unforgettable performance of SLEEPING BEAUTY KIDS at the Summit Playhouse!  Led by celebrated director Lindsay Maron, these workshops promise to give kids a joyful and unforgettable experience.

It’s the summer of Maleficent, so now’s the perfect time to celebrate this beloved story.  Whether your child is an accomplished actor or has only dreamed of being in the spotlight, Maron will help each child grow as a performer and give them all a chance to sing, dance and act on stage.  She has a special gift of getting the best out of kids, teaching them to work hard while having the time of their lives!

It's Princess Aurora's birthday, and three fairies – Flora, Fauna and Merryweather – must use their magic to save her from the spell of evil sorceress Maleficent! This classic fairy tale comes to life in Disney’s SLEEPING BEAUTY KIDS. With lots of fun featured roles from the King and Queen, to the fairies, to the Evil Maleficent and her goons, to the Sleeping Beauty herself, all cast members are sure to have their chance to shine on stage.

Step Right Up

Let’s make America the Greatest Show on Earth Again.

I was very sad to learn that after 146 years of big-top entertainment the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus is folding its tent and leaving town.
