FANWOOD, NJ – A record crowd attended the Party in the Park kicking off Fanwood’s Summer Movie Series at La Grande Park on Tuesday, June 24, featuring Disney's modern classic, Frozen.

The evening began with moon bounces, ice cube races, and other activities.  A big hit at the party was a demonstration of street curling, normally a winter sport, on plastic ice that featured instruction by USA Curling national champion Dean Gemmell.

Local businesses Nick's Pizza and Double Dipper Cafe provided pizza and ice cream, while Be Craftful offered arts & crafts for the little ones.

Next Tuesday's free summer movie will feature Monsters University on July 1 at dusk.
