Summit 5th-, 7th-Graders Part of STEPS LAX Tournament Winning Teams

SUMMIT, NJ - A contingent of Summit fifth- and seventh-graders were part of two STEPS lacrosse teams that captured their respective tournament titles this past weekend.

The STEPS 2021 Elite Team went 4-0 in the Bay Bridge Brawl Tournament in Annapolis, Md. and won the championship game against East Coast Lacrosse 5-2. There are 10 Summit kids on the team, all who have won three tournaments in a row, two with Summit Futures Lacrosse, and the third with STEPS.
The 2021 Team includes: Aidan Cass, Luke Dinola, Cole. Freeman,  Robby Holmes, Jackson Moller, PJ Neal, Jimmy Persche, Justin Ross, Timothy Sajer and Hunter Schluter
The STEPS 2019 Elite Team won the National Invitational  best-of-the best club team showcase tournament in Garden City, N.Y. The team went 5-1, losing their first game 12-6 to Team Long Island, only to meet them in the championship game and defeat the same team, 11-4.
The 2019 includes: Charlie Collins, Tyler Hadley, Gray Humphrey, Jack Kelly, Greg Moller, Noah Ragan, Skyler Schluter, Davis Strabley, and Jackson Tyler.
