Summit Community Organizations Join to Host Nonprofit Mixer Mar. 19

SUMMIT, NJ - The Junior League of Summit (JLS), the Summit Area Public Foundation (SAPF), and Central Presbyterian Church are joining to host a community leadership mixer for nonprofit organizations and the public. 

The event will be held March 19 in the Central Presbyterian Church auditorium, located at 70 Maple Street, from 7-9 p.m.  It is designed to provide an opportunity for representatives from area nonprofits to mingle with cultural leaders and the public, learn more about other local nonprofits, and serve as a platform for individual organizations to let others know what they're doing.

"The JLS loves being able to bring nonprofit organizations together, and is excited to partner with the SAPF and Central Presbyterian Church," said JLS President Colleen Markley.  "Enabling Summit area citizens to get to know these many organizations can only bring about benefits to the community as a whole."

Nonprofit leaders from 16 to 18 organizations will briefly introduce their mission, goals, projects, and partnerships, with ample time allowed for informal socializing.
