Summit Educational Foundation to Host Annual Casino Night

February 25, 2013 at 2:42 PM

Don’t miss Summit Educational Foundation’s Annual Casino Night, Saturday, March 16, 7 p.m. at the Elks Club, 40 Maple Street.

Twenty-seven years ago a small group of Summit residents had an idea. They recognized that private funding invested in our schools would encourage creativity and innovation. SEF has now invested over three million dollars in Summit schools through teacher and district grants which touch every student in the system and provide teachers and administrators the opportunity to think creatively.

This year, you can also donate directly to the 21st Century Classroom Fund to help transform every classroom into a 21st century classroom. Smart boards, Smart Clickers, Smart Slates, Node Chairs, Moveable Walls, White Board Walls, Elmo Document Cameras, iPads, iTouches, Playaways and Bouncy Chairs are some of the ways we can reach every student with active engagement, small group instruction and innovation.
