Summit Football Places 15 Players on All-Conference Team

SUMMIT, NJ - Fifteen members of the State Champion Summit High School Varsity Football Team have been named to the Mid-State 38 All-Conference Raritan Division Team, including five each to the first-team offense and defense.

Quarterback Charlie Terry, running back Chris Zanelli, and offensive linemen Eric Lyman, Stevie Rainero, and Robbie Walsh were chosen as First-Team Offense selections. Wide receiver Dan Childers and offensive lineman Matt Greenstein were named to Second-Team Offensive unit.
On the defensive side of the ball, linebacker Colm Dougherty, defensive linemen Mac Wiesner and Colin Andrews, and defensive backs Andrew Masterfano and Andrew Helmer earned First Team honors, while defensive back John Cordrey, linebacker Matt Oristanio, and defensive lineman Michael Maldonado were chosen as Second-Team selections.
 
The Hilltoppers concluded their season a perfect 12-0, have won 24 games in a row, back-to-back State Titles, and were ranked 18th in the final state rankings.

Trenton lawmakers postponed their vote on S2855 the “Electronic Publication of Legal Notices Act”. This bill would end the mandate for municipalities to publicly advertise legal notices in print newspapers. S2855 would allow municipalities to publish legal notices on their own websites or have them published online by a third party.
