Summit Varsity Boys Swim Team to Go For Gold on Saturday

SUMMIT, NJ - Summit's varsity boys swim team, ranked No. 7 in the state, will take on Moorestown, ranked No. 5 in the state, on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Public B state championship match at The College of New Jersey in Ewing.  To get to the championship, Summit had to swim past No. 11 Princeton, which it did 87-83 in the Public B state semi-finals.  Summit registered eight first-place finishes to Princeton's four.  Last year, Princeton defeated Summit, 104-66 in the same semi-final and Princeton went on to claim the No. 1 ranking in the State of New Jersey.

Public B boys: Summit vs. Moorestown, 10:30 a.m.

Non-Public A boys: Seton Hall Prep vs. Christian Brothers Academy, 2 p.m.

Trenton lawmakers postponed their vote on S2855 the “Electronic Publication of Legal Notices Act”. This bill would end the mandate for municipalities to publicly advertise legal notices in print newspapers. S2855 would allow municipalities to publish legal notices on their own websites or have them published online by a third party.
