PATERSON, NJ- Law enforcement is investigating a shooting that took place Sunday evening, leaving a 24-year-old man with a non-fatal gunshot wound.

According to a statement by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, the incident took place at an apartment on Pearl Street  at approximately 10:14 p.m.

The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
