EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ:  As if East Brunswick knew that this was going to be a gorgeous sunny day, activities abounded in the parks, fields, and businesses around town.   TAPinto East Brunswick has the happy pictures of all sorts of happy Bears got outside and celebrated - finally! - the arrival of spring.

* BiCentennial Park Cleanup by the East Brunswick Youth Council and the Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership

*The MAX Challenge in East Brunswick's fundraiser class for the Daisy Recreation program which raised $400 in one hour.  The MAX will also host a fundraiser next Saturday for their annual Day of Giving.

*The Opening Day Parade for the East Brunswick Baseball League which has started an initiative called "EBBL Cares" to support the Community Foodbank of New Jersey.

*A car wash by the fifth-graders at Central School who are funding their class activities.

*The East Brunswick High School Track and Field Invitational that hosted dozens of schools and hundreds of kids, coaches, and parents at EBHS.

*Practice for the East Brunswick High School Varsity Baseball Team in the middle of a great season.

*East Brunswick's Boy Scouts of America Troop 223 held an open house at the VEF #133 Post for new members.

*A fund-raising car wash held by the youth group at the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship on Hardenburgh Lane.
