WARREN, NJ - Linda Pawlikowski Gallagher, 52, of Warren, went to the Lord on Friday, March 28, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She fought her illness for four years and it was her boys who kept her going.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Meyersville Presbyterian Church, 223 Hickory Tavern Road, Gillette on Saturday, April 5 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home, 803 Raritan Road, Clark.
Linda was born on November 24, 1961, the daughter of Stanley R. Pawlikowski II and Joan L. Pawlikowski (Andrus). She was married April 29, 1989 to Daniel Gallagher. They have 3 sons, Daniel, Jake and Brad. She graduated from Delaware Academy in Delhi, NY in 1980. She worked at O'Connor Hospital as a dietary aide and then in NJ she worked for Transamerica. She stayed at home with her children when she became a mother.
As a young lady she belonged to Trails Pals 4-H Club, showing horses with her first pony Scooter and later others. She was a member and Deacon at the Meyersville Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed visiting her family in upstate NY and Vermont, making many trips to and from over the years. She enjoyed riding her brother's horse and doing anything outdoors with her boys in upstate NY. She was an avid supporter of the Delaware Opportunities Food Bank and of causes for animals, actively rescuing cats and volunteering at animal shelters. She had a great love for all animals, the outdoors and growing flowers. She took great joy in watching her boys play in their sporting events, going to a great deal of soccer games, which all three boys have played since they were very young. She supported the boys with their Boy Scout activities and she also volunteered at many school events, wanting to be involved in any way she could.

Linda was a very kind and generous person, always giving and caring for others. Linda was chosen to be a "Diva for a Day"" and was very passionate about this program. Diva for a Day Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit program, which gives a quiet day of beauty, comfort and support for women dealing with cancer. She was given a day of pampering at a local spa to commend her for her fight and provide a day of indulgence. She had been honored to have been chosen for this and was passionate about this program.
