Sussex County Community College Foundation Awards 123 Scholarships

The Foundation at Sussex County Community College (SCCC) awarded $60,150 to 106 students at the College’s annual Scholarship Ceremony held on Tuesday, May 2nd. The awards represented 123 different scholarships with amounts ranging from $200 to $2,000 which will be applied to the Fall 2013 semester.

 
Master of Ceremonies for the program was Barbara Wortmann, Executive Director of the Foundation of SCCC.  Mr. Harold Damato, Senior Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs gave an address and Charles Roberts, Chairman of the Foundation Board welcomed the audience of donors, students and guests.

Sparta Police: Wantage Man Faces Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

SPARTA, NJ – A Wantage man is facing drug charges after a traffic stop for an expired registration sticker.  According to Sparta police Shane Dedminicantanio was pulled over on Route 15 after he passed Sparta Cpl. Oroho Bill to Remove Red Tape from Pharmaceutical Industry Signed into Law
