Swartz and Fico Gather Endorsements

Dear Editor,

We, the undersigned, are enthusiastic supporters of Karen Swartz and Peter Fico for Chatham Township Committee and ask Township residents to support their efforts in becoming the next truly conservative, principled Republicans elected to that office on Tuesday, June 3rd.

In addition to having lived and raised their families in Chatham Township over the past 20-plus years, Karen and Pete have demonstrated a distinguished record of commitment to public service. Karen has served on the Planning Board and has been active in the Republican Club of the Chathams. She has been a dedicated volunteer for the Kiwanis Club and active in St. Patrick Church ministries and a member of the Financial Council.

Pete has served on the Township’s Board of Adjustment and served as our Chatham Township prosecutor for 15 years. His experience as a Board of Health attorney, former police officer and prosecutor for five different municipalities gives him a unique and first hand experience into real life public safety issues.

Karen and Pete are running because they believe as we do that that local government needs to be responsive, resident friendly and respecting of the many differences in the collection of neighborhoods that make up Chatham Township. Their professional experience, enthusiasm and energetic approach, combined with principles based in sound reasoning and common sense make them well qualified to serve on the Township Committee.

On Tuesday, June 3rd, four candidates will be seeking two open seats. For the reasons stated above and more, we urge our fellow Chatham Township residents to vote for Karen Swartz and Peter Fico for Township Committee. Your vote matters and will help in moving Chatham Township forward in a positive, neighborhood friendly and
fiscally sound manner, keeping it one of the best communities to live and raise a family here in New Jersey.

Kevin Sullivan, Chatham Township Committee
Curt Ritter, Chatham Township Committee
Bailey Brower, Chatham Township Committee
Nicole Hagner, Former Mayor, Chatham Township
Kevin Tubbs, Former Mayor, Chatham Township
Fred Pocci, Former Mayor, Chatham Township
