SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Union Catholic swim team, sparked by the remarkable school record breaking 200 freestyle relay team, extended its unbeaten streak to 18 straight meets with a 124-46 victory over Woodbridge on Thursday night at the Jewish Community Center.

The highlight of the meet came in the 200 freestyle relay when Ryan Sulistyono, Hunter Lee, Kai Tann, and Julian Kaniuka combined to finish first in 1:37.86 to smash the school record of 1:39.91 set in 2007.

The Vikings, now 4-0 on the season, also received two victories from Bridget Davis (200 freestyle and 500 freestyle) and Alex Moore in the 100 backstroke (1:07.24) and 100 freestyle.

Other winners for UC were Molly Brennan in the 200 individual medley (2:22.49), Stewart Adams in the 100 breaststroke (1:14.72), and the 400 free relay and 200 medley relay were also victories. Brennan, Anna Gordon, Jackie Coyne, and Davis teamed up in the 400 free relay (4:08.21). Emily Sweeney, Nadia Blouin, Klarisse Rivera, and Jaren Mateo combined on the victory in the 200 medley.
