RAHWAY, N.J. -- The Union Catholic swim team captured every event on the way to 121-49 victory over Johnson to improve its record to 6-0  on Tuesday at the Rahway YMCA.

Several Vikings won multiple events.

UC freshman sensation Julian Kaniuka remained undefeated in individual events by winning the 50-meter freestyle in 23:81, and the 100 butterfly in 58.90, and he also swam on the winning 400 free relay (4:06.28) and victorious 200 medley relay (1:58.75).

Senior James Scacifero touched the wall first to win the 200 freestyle in 2:13.22, just ahead of teammate Ryan Sulistyono (second in 2:13.81), and swam a leg on the first-place 400 free relay and 200 freestyle relay.

Senior Kate Fuhrmann was a double winner, taking firsat in the 100 free in 57.81 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.00.
Junior Hunter Lee also had a great performance as he won the 200 individual medley in 2:25.78, was second in the 100 butterfly, and and was a member of both freestyle relays. 

Sophomore Miranda Mouris captured the 100 backstroke in 1:11.59, and swam on the 400 free relay and 200 medley relay

Junior Anna Gordon won the 500 free in 6:10.52, and junior Stewart Adams was second in the 50 free, second in the 100 breaststroke, and swam legs on the winning 200 medley relay and 200 free relay.

Union Catholic will seek to complete its second straight undefeated regular season when the Vikings take on Elizabeth and Johnson in a tri-meet this Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the Dunn Center in Elizabeth.
