BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The township council recently approved several resolutions concerning contracts for more road work throughout the township.
- The council approved a resolution that grants an extension of the grace period for the payment of taxes from Aug. 1 to Aug. 21. This is done most years to accommodate when tax bills are sent out.
- The council authorized a professional engineering contract for the preparation of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection permits for Vosseller Avenue retaining walls. The walls will be constructed as part of phase I by the Reynolds Group, Inc., at a cost of $18,600.00.
- The council approved a resolution granting the award of professional engineering, surveying and inspection services to Van Cleef Engineering Associates for the Tullo Farm Road improvement project, to be done from Severin Drive to Black Court. The contract is for an amount not to exceed $21,482.00.
- The council also authorized a contract to the Reynolds Group Inc. for professional engineering, surveying and inspection services for the Church Road improvement project. The contract is for $30,800.
