Teachers Wear Ugly Sweaters for a Good Cause

The Alpine school teachers held an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest and fundraiser.
SPARTA, NJ- Sparta Alpine School teachers celebrated the holiday season a little differently this year--with an ugly sweater contest. Teachers were asked to wear their most unique, tacky or ugly sweater to the faculty holiday breakfast. After everyone had the opportunity to see the candidates, they then voted on their "favorite" sweater. Kathy Cline was the winner.

Along with wearing the ugly sweaters, staff members made donations to Stand Up To Cancer. They collected $150 and looked great doing it. The day's events were organized by third-grade teacher Suzanne Smith.
