RARITAN TWP., N.J. — “Visits with Velvet,” stress management for kids will be held Saturdays, May 4 and 18 and June 1 from 10 to 12 p.m. at Journey’s End Farm.
Psychologist Dr. Susan Edwards and the helping horses of Team Velvet, Inc. are offering a series of psycho-educational group sessions for parents, and their children ages 5 to 12. The program includes non-mounted activities with the horses designed to tackle tough issues in a fun and positive way.
The topics will be:
May 4 — Coping with Stress for Kids
May 18 — Strengthening Self Esteem
June 1 — The Courage to Persist
The fee is $20 per child per session, or $50 for all three
