High school students from Temple B’nai Abraham are partnering with the Livingston Chapter of Aleph Zadik Aleph and B'nai Brith Girls to sponsor a Clothing and Food Drive to Benefit Apostle House in Newark. The students will package all donated items and transport them to the Apostle’s House on Nov. 26. Under the supervision of Claudia Minde, high school director, Rabbi Clifford Kulwin and parent volunteers, the students will distribute the much-needed items..
Please consider donating new or gently used winter jackets, socks, shoes, clothing as well as food, dental supplies and toiletries. Food items should be non-perishable in unopened packages such as peanut butter, jelly, juice boxes, canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, canned soup, breakfast cereal, granola bars and/or cookies, coffee and cocoa.
Donations may be placed in the collection box located in the coatroom. Please drop off all items at Temple B’nai Abraham by Nov. 25. For more information, contact Claudia Minde at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (973) 994-2290 ext. 247.
