BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Traffic turning right onto Chimney Rock Road South will be placed onto a temporary exit-only right-turn lane as of Friday morning.
The temporary lane will be in place for about two months, and a message board in the area will provide advance notice of the new configuration.
Construction is continuing for the Route 22 East express and local roadways, in addition to roadway and bridge widening along Chimney Rock Road between Route 22 East and Union Avenue and various overhead and underground utility relocations.
According to the county, all local businesses on Chimney Rock Road and Route 22 East will be accessible during the construction.
