FANWOOD, NJ -- Tennis players from the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School team get in a practice session on the courts at Fanwood's La Grande Park after school on the first day of spring, March 20. Temperatures were in the low 50s under partly cloudy skies, and the trees still don't have any leaves. Then again, just a few weeks ago, the courts were completely covered in snow.
