WESTFIELD, NJ - The Bar Method in Westfield held a ribbon-cutting ceremony April 12 with with Mayor Andy Skibitsky, Councilman Sam Della Fera, representatives from the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (including Chairman Chris Devine) and Downtown Westfield Corporation Executive Director Sherry Cronin.
When choosing a location, “We were determined. We really wanted to be in Downtown Westfield,” said franchise co-owner Emily King.
The fitness studio, which uses body-sculpting exercises based on physical therapy, first opened its doors March 15.
“It’s really a great workout. You work out all of your muscles,” explained co-owner Lori Terry as she showed the group one of the mirrored, comfortably carpeted workout rooms. To accommodate moms, the studio offers child care for $7 per hour, she noted.
The Bar Method is located upstairs at 105 Elm St. For more information, click here.
