“Part of the mission of Imagine is to normalize grief in our society and to create resilient “Good Mourning” communities that know how to support children and adults when they are grieving any type of loss,” said Mary Robinson, Founder and Executive Director of Imagine. "Our Imagine book club read this book and when it was released on film, we want to take the opportunity to have a broader conversation in the community and with our volunteers about grief, and dying and support groups and the realities of living with an illness for children and teens,” said Imagine Program Director Mandi Zucker, MSW.  “We already have three Good Mourning sites in Westfield and we’d love to see Westfield become one of the first Good Mourning Communities in the country. This is a great step in that direction.”

Imagine provides free year-round grief support for children age 3-18 and their parents or guardians, who are coping with loss due to death or who have a family member living with illness.  For more information about Imagine or to volunteer contact Mandi Zucker at 908-264-3100 or mandi@imaginenj.org.

Imagine is a free year-round children’s grief support center that serves NJ children age 3-18 and young adults 18-30 who are grieving the death of a parent or sibling, or who are living with a parent of sibling with a life-altering illness.
