The Hilltop Players Presents Boeing-Boeing

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - On behalf of the Governor Livingston Hilltop Players, we proudly invite you to join us for our fall play, Marc Camoletti's BOEING BOEING, a 1960s comedy about a Parisian bachelor who manages to have three fiancees at the same time -- because they are all air hostesses from different airlines, and are never in Paris at the same time. Unfortunately for him, everything changes when their airlines get faster airplanes. The play deals hilariously with what happens when all of Bernard's beautiful, exotic fiancees end up in his apartment at the same time. It is a high-energy, hilarious production!

Our actors have worked really hard, perfecting their comic timing, developing foreign accents, and crafting engaging, lovable characters. Our crew has also been diligently transforming our stage as they construct the interior of Bernard's beautiful Parisian apartment. As always, we have had valuable student involvement from countless areas of the GL community; they have taken on leadership roles in stage management, costume design, properties design, and technical design. Our production has also engaged the community, bringing in parent volunteers to support us throughout the process.

We have done something unusual this year, and rehearsed two separate casts. Out of our four performances, each cast will perform twice. This has given us the opportunity to include more student actors in what is otherwise a very small production, and we so enjoy the opportunity to see different students' interpretations of the same characters. One cast will perform on Thursday 11/21 at 7:30pm and Saturday 11/23 at 2:00pm, and the other cast will perform on Friday 11/22 at 7:30pm and Saturday 11/23 at 7:30pm.
