The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe


Orange Avenue School is proud to present the play "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe," based on the first book in the Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis. The story centers around four children who visit Narnia, a land of talking animals and mythical creatures, via a wardrobe. There they become involved in a battle between Aslan, the lion lord,and the evil White Witch who has ruled Narnia for one hundred years of deep winter. Be transported to this land of fantasy and adventure by the talented Orange Avenue School students under the direction of Becky Randazzo, as they perform the beloved play this fall.

Performances are Friday, October 18 at 8pm, Saturday, October 19 at 8pm, and Sunday, October 20 at 3pm. In addition, there will be a free performance fo senior citizens on Thursday, October 17th at 4:30pm. All performances will be held in the Orange Avenue School (OAS) auditorium, at 901 Orange Avenue in Cranford. Tickets are $7 each, and can be purchased at the door, or by contacting Cranford has a thriving theatre and artistic community, and many students from Orange Avenue School have gone on to professional careers in stage and screen.

Come see the very best of young theatre, and support our students and community. The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe was named one of TIME magazine’s best 100 novels of all time, and the OAS production of the play promises to be family entertainment at its best!
