MONTVILLE, NJ – The Montville Township Committee released the following statement on June 3:

Montville Township’s Mayor Frank W. Cooney, Deputy Mayor Richard Cook, and Township Committee Members Richard Conklin, June Witty and Dr. Matthew Kayne, join with the rest of our country in offering our community’s condolences to Mr. George Floyd’s family and friends.

As your elected representatives, we condemn and strenuously denounce the unacceptable and inconceivably tragic death of Mr. George Floyd this past Monday, May 25, 2020 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
