Third Annual Summit Police Open House Slated for June 8

SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Police Department will host its 3rd Annual Open House on June 8, from 2 - 4 p.m. 

Police Chief Robert Weck is inviting and encouraging all residents of Summit to stop by the Police Department where they will be able to meet their local police officers, as well as take a tour of police headquarters.

Members of the Union County Emergency Response Team, and Union County’s SWAT team, will also be in attendance, and refreshments will be available courtesy of Summit’s PAL Board.  Children are most welcome at this event, and will be given souvenirs of their visit.

Weck also noted that he and his entire Department were looking forward to meeting the City’s residents, and to giving them a first-hand look at he day-to-day operations of its police force.
