Three Crashes Snarl Traffic in Warren Township on Wednesday Night


WARREN, NJ -  Three  separate motor vehicle accidents occurred between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday night, Jan. 8.

A car flipped over at the Watchung Circle. At approximately the same time, Warren Township Police responded to a single car motor vehicle accident on Mountain Ave. just east of King George Road. The driver, Molly McHugh from Warren, hit a patch of ice and skidded off of the roadway. No summons were issued and Bardy Farms Towing removed the vehicle.

At 7:32, a vehicle driven by Spinivas  Velagapudi of Edison skidded on a patch of ice on Mountain Ave. close to Stirling Road. The vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree. No summons were issued and no services were needed.
