The doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon Thursday, April 10, when the Thursday Morning Club holds its annual Spring Luncheon Benefit at the Brooklake Country Club, 139 Brooklake Road, Florham Park. The public is invited to attend.
“Tickets for lovely gift baskets will be available,” said Laurie Mindnich, chairwoman of the major fundraising event for the Madison club.
Entertainment will be provided by singing impressionist Eric Kearns, Voices of Legends, in a one-man concert show. Kearns delivers more than 40 artists and their hit songs in a fast-paced, hour-long performance. His act will highlight vocal impersonations from artists who were popular from the 1950s through the 1980s. Guests will hear the hit songs as they were originally recorded by famous singers such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, Tom Jones, Dean Martin, Johnny Mathis, Perry Como, Louis Armstrong, and so many more.
The luncheon, which will benefit the club’s Madison Community House at 25 Cook Ave., is open to the public. The admission fee of $50 includes lunch and entertainment. Checks can be mailed to and made payable to: “TMC, Spring Luncheon” P.O. Box 345, Madison, NJ 07940. Cancelled checks will serve as a receipt; tickets will not be mailed.
