TRENTON, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy released the latest COVID-19 figures from around the New Jersey on Thursday afternoon.

There were 4,095 new PCR cases reported and 1,184 antigen tests, with 98 new deaths. Statewide, there are now 580,688 positive PCR cases, 65,500 positive antigen cases, and 18,639 deaths, and 2,121 probable COVID-19 fatalities. 

According to Murphy, Bergen County leads the state with the most positive cases with 56,223, followed by Essex (55,898), Middlesex (55,293), Hudson (52,976), Passaic (44,986), with 1,199 under investigation.

Both Bergen (459) and Middlesex (415) counties each had over 400 new cases. Five counties had over 300 new cases, Hudson (352), Ocean (333), Essex (329), Passaic (320), and Monmouth (302.)

Three counties had over 200 new cases, Morris (222), Union (209), and Camden (204.)  Four counties reported over 100 new cases, Gloucester (189), Burlington (147), Mercer (130), and Atlantic (102.)

As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, there were 3,395 people hospitalized, with 626 patients in ICU and 427 on ventilators.
