SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - South Plainfield Tiger 12U travel softball tryouts will be starting in September. Eligible age group with birth dates from 2002/2003 and you must play South Plainfield Recreational Softball. Tryouts will take place at the Ponytail field with a mandatory one tryout to qualify. Tryouts are Friday, September 5th from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Saturday, September 6th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and Sunday, September 7th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The South Plainfield Borough Cultural Arts Commission hosted their annual line dancing event on October 28, 2017 at the South Plainfield Senior Center. The “Silver Spurs” were the host of the line dancing event. There were 40 people in attendance. Line dancing is a great event because you can attend as a single person and enjoy all the modes of line dancing.
