CALDWELL, NJ - Caldwell's Street Fair begins at noon today and will go until 5 p.m. rain or shine. The event takes place for the 22nd year on Bloomfield Avenue and will host 205 vendors selling food, new merchandise and home crafted items. The fair is a community event produced by the Rotary Club of the Caldwells and The Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex. It's a major fund-raiser for both groups and also offers rides, 50/50 sales, a beer garden, a large variety of food and entertainment. The occasion is expected to draw over 30,000 guests.
The children's rides are set up in the area of the Cleveland Street /Bloomfield Avenue triangle area and food is located on Bloomfield Avenue between Cleveland Street and Park Avenue.
Caldwell Police announced that Bloomfield Avenue will be closed between Roseland Avenue and Central Avenue until 8 p.m. tonight.
