SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Conrail authorities have informed South Brunswick Police that they need to make emergency repairs to the railroad crossing that runs across Route 535 near the NJ Turnpike overpass.  Conrail plans to do the work over a three day period of time and it will require a total closure of Route 535. The work is scheduled to begin on Saturday February 23rd at 7am and continue until Tuesday February 26th at 5am. 

Route 535 will be closed between Ridge Road and Stults Road.

Detours will be set up and officers will be posted at the closure locations.

New Jersey Department of Transportation has already posted signage along Route 535 alerting motorists to the project.
