SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The Township of South Brunswick welcomed three new Police Officers who were formally sworn in last night in front of the Town Council and Mayor Carlie Carley by Township Clerk Barbara Nyitrai. The ceremony was performed before the Town Council regularly scheduled meeting in front of a huge crowd filled with family and friends of the three officers.

The new officers are Trevor Michie, Bruce Redfield, and Brooke Goetz. Michie and Redfield are both local residents who graduated from South Brunswick High School. Goetz is a graduate of Monroe Township High School and graduated from Rutgers University with a criminal justice degree. Michie possesses an Associate Degree from Middlesex Community College in Woodbridge.

The three new officers are presently going through In-House Training before being placed on patrol in the township. All three officers are graduated of the Cape May Police Training Center..

Chief Hayducka promised the families that the township has a premiere team of law enforcement experts and the force has one many awards for their excellence. He also promised a safe work environment for the three officers.

Upon the conclusion of the ceremony, the families were treated to an extensive tour of the Police Station operations led by Lt. Laszio Nyitrai.
